PvE grouping question - Guild Wars Forums

1. What level do most people start grouping at?

2. What level do you need to start grouping at?

3. Quests ??? is there a way to share quests or get quests as a group?

4. Is there an in game mechanism to assist with finding groups or do you just use chat?

I just started, got a char to level 4 and found in pretty boring doing everything on my own. Would like to get into groups but I'm not sure what the grouping etiquettes are yet.

I second these questions. I started today and, having played CoH before was suprised not to find some ingame element to look for group or members. I tried the standard "lvl 3 ranger lft" but had no luck at all.

well do what you want

i have a level 13 toon so far and have not grouped once besides the 'quest' for the res signet

i don't group for anything i can solo

i like to group for pvp, but would rarely ever group for pve.

i have done all missions and all quests up to frost gate without ever grouping.

i think one of the main reasons i see so many people spamming for groups all the time is that they suck, and just want to tag along, and not be responsible for their own success. people constantly complain about how the npc henchmen suck, but i would strongly disagree...i've soloed everything up to frost gate with the henchmen, and i'm a monk, which many people consider to be one of the weaker classes for soloing.

1. What level do most people start grouping at? i'm guessing most lfg spam comes after the searing...maybe level 4...maybe level 8 depending

3. Quests ??? is there a way to share quests or get quests as a group? i believe everyone has to get the quest from npcs themselves, but i'm not 100% sure

4. Is there an in game mechanism to assist with finding groups or do you just use chat? only grouping for pvp tournaments is facilitated by the game...for everything else people spam chat

..I don't spam for groups, but of course I'll choose a player team over the npcs if there is one nearby.

I can manage with the henchman, as I have done quite a few quests and missions with them..but the game really is more fun when you find a (decent) group.

i do like grouping, but i consider 95% of all pve encounters to be trivial, and i don't really like pick up groups either. i find in most pick up groups there are usually 3 out of 6 that perform worse than the npc henchmen.

I have soloed all the way to Yaks bend. Now, the game really gets interesting and hard aswell

I use the henchmen, for some reason, they seem to be more competent than some players
